Beers on tap
American Pale Ale, 5.7%
Originally a limited release brew, this Pale is the newest member of the Mountain Goat core range. True to it’s American style the beer uses a bunch of new world hops including, Chinook, Mosaic, Cascade, Citra and Centennial. The hops combine to give the beer a strong aroma of pine, citrus and stone fruits. The Beer finishes with clean and dry palate.
Hightail Original + Hightail Nitro
Amber Ale, 4.5%
The O.G Goat beer that was released way back in 1997 setting the stage for the second wave of craft breweries in Australia. A big beer for it’s time Hightail is a malt driven English Amber Ale. The is a balanced floral hop aroma that sits just above that malt backbone. In recent years the use of Nitrogen in some kegged Hightail has transformed the beer adding a rich thick mouthfeel denser carbonation and bringing out a different aroma. On the night, we will serve both Original and Nitro Hightail.
Organic Ale, 4.5%
Steam is a crisp, certified organic ale incorporating a slap of wheat malt, Cascade and Citra hops to give it a fresh, zippy finish. Great as the weather warms up.
Before The Dawn
Black IPA, 7.4%
Originally released in 2012 Before the Dawn was released to mark the end of winter. This “Rare Breed” black IPA is back at just the right time. This is a big beer that takes the black IPA style to the extreme. The beer pours jet black in colour with only the tinest amount of light sneaking through the glass. The aroma gives big notes of hoppy pine and slightly smokey dark malts. The palate backs up the big nose with added spice and fruit the the big malt right on the finish.
